The RD1 All Star League 2 2011 has come to an end. It was indeed an exciting season of basketball with players who showed off their skills and perseverance on the hard court. With the full support of ComWorks and Smart, the PD leagues fought with a lot of energy and enthusiasm as their teams loudly and proudly cheered for them in the background during their respective games.
For the finals, hordes of people went to Amoranto Stadium to witness the battle between Invict versus Light Shine 88 for their 3rd place and Negi versus RGG for 1st in this year’s much-awaited battle. Everybody was on the edge of their seat as RGG and Negi fought to win the coveted spot of Champion to the last second of the game! The buzzer beater shot made by RGG placed them as this year’s unbeatable team, the Champions of the RD 1 All Star League 2 2011!
Congratulations to the winning and all participating teams as well as the top players cited during the Championship! The hardwork of each player and each team member brought about the tremendous success of this event. Likewise, all participating PDs have shown excellent camaraderie among and beyond their teams, bringing fun and enjoyment that extended further than the court. Do watch out, there’s much more in store from ComWorks and Smart in the next coming months that will surely excite and entice everyone to further give their best.
